PC104-CFII
 
(IEI/ICP model PM-1037C)
*Note: This board connects a Compact Flash card or Microdrive to
an IDE cable, and does not access the CF card/drive over the PC104
bus. When connected to and IDE interface, typically on the SBC in
a PC104 stack, the CF card or Microdrive is treated like an IDE drive
by the BIOS. Also note that the ICs shown populated on the PCB are
not included on this version, as they are for a serial-port interface not
included here. An operating system, such as DOS, can be installed on
the CF card or Microdrive and the system can boot from it as though
it is the main hard drive. The CF card can also be treated as a secondary
drive with a main hard drive also on the IDE cable.
