In November, 2006, Embedtec
completed the 25th year in
business.
PRINSER is a
trademark of Embedtec
Corporation. PRINSER
stands for
Products/Information/Services.
With an ever-expanding array
of product,
information, and service
categories, we plan to form
PRINSER Corporation to
encompass all the PRINSER
products, information, and
services, including those of
Embedtec, which will become
one of the PRINSER
categories.
Specializing in
Automation & Energy Technologies for Businesses and
Homes.
In addition to
Distribution, we
also Design and
Manufacture many of
our own Products, including
custom-designed hardware and
software for businesses.
In 2002, after supplying
businesses with automation
technology for 20 years, we
began research and
development in the category
of home automation and new
energy technologies.
At the end of 2004, we
launched our PRINSER Online e-commerce
web site. With the primary
focus on supplying
technology to businesses,
the Embedtec Products
portion of our e-commerce
web site is now online.
In 2006 other sections of the
e-commerce web site were
initiated.
We added some
Home-Automation products and
our first Energy product, an
alternator stator, for use
in wind turbines and heat
engines.
In 2007, we plan to shift
more towards the Services
aspect of PRINSER. We plan
work more with other
companies to develop custom
technologies and products.
We also plan to initiate the
PRINSER Network, by adding
some service-oriented
partner-companies to our web
site.
Company History
In 1981, the company was
founded in Cupertino,
California. as a General
Partnership named Single
Board Solutions.
In 1985, the company was
incorporated as Single Board
Solutions, Inc., a
California Corporation.
We expanded beyond
single-board computers,
supplying a broad range of
embedded-technology
products, including CPUs,
memory, backplanes, disk
drives, power supplies,
cables, chassis, enclosures,
and software.
In 1996, the company name
was changed to Embedtec
Corporation. We adopted the
word "Embedtec" as a
trademark, and on November
11, 1997, "Embedtec" became
a Registered Trademark of
Embedtec Corporation
In September, 2000, we
moved to 1711-D Little
Orchard St., San Jose, CA
95125.
In 2002, we began using
the PRINSER trademark.
In December, 2006, we
moved to 5523 Scotts Valley
Dr., Suite 110, Scotts
Valley, CA 95066.
